Busy, popular & usually packed on weekends but that didn’t stop me and my friend from enjoying the evening of her birthday. Food came fast and was well cooked. Staff was efficient & food was great in portions. More

Lunch on Friday al fresco at il Brigante on a quiet side street near South Street Seaport.
We started with the arancine. For main courses we had gnocchi alla Sorrentina, fettuccine Bolognese, and spinach fettuccine with truffles, mushrooms and tomatoes, along with a crisp Vermentino.
It was a long, leisurely and delicious lunch!

A very authentic Italian restaurant in the South Seaport area in downtown Manhattan. Food is great, service is fast, and restroom is big and well maintained. I recommend you make a reservation in advance since the restaurant is not so big and is very crowded. Desserts are amazing and it's a must-have!! More
